This 3 day course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles of micoscopy that are commonly used in the research environment. Students are introduced to a variety of imaging and analysis techniques with an emphasis on confocal and fluorescent microscopy and related imaging anlaysis.

Live Cell Imaging 2009 (LCI09)

The 5-day course will cover all aspects of live cell imaging from the basics of keeping cells alive to experiments performed on the microscope. LCI09 will be held over three days of half day lectures and set practicals (Mon – Wed) and two full days of practicals.
